About Us

The Lockhart Auctions, Inc. is owned by Stacy and Wendy Lockhart. This is your one-stop shop for antiques and collectibles. We auction Real Estate and a wide variety of items such as Antique Furniture, Glassware, quilts, dolls, and even farm equipment.

Stacy L. Lockhart, a native of Browntown, Va, has been an auctioneer for 8 years. He received his training at the Bernie Pleasants School of Auctioneering, in Mineral, VA. His interest in auctioneering was sparked at a very young age when the Leroy Van Dyke's song, "The Auctioneer," was making its way up the country music charts. Stacy remembers becoming fascinated with the auctioneer at an auction his family attended to purchase work horses for their farm. His mother still tells stories of how he ran around the house trying to sound just like the "man selling the horses". Over the years his interest in becoming an auctioneer steadily grew and now his dream of owning his own auction hall has finally come to fruition with the opening of Lockhart Auctions, Inc. in Front Royal, VA.

Along with auctioneering, Stacy owns and operates Lee-Ellen Homes, Inc. in Browntown, VA where he puts his construction knowledge to good use. Among his other interests is music. In the 1990s, Stacy was lead singer in a local rockabilly band, "The Night Owls". This band performed regularly for the Eagles Club dances, where he met his wife Wendy. Well, life has come full circle for these two; the first location of Lockhart Auctions was in the very building where Stacy and Wendy met. Now Lockhart Auctions, Inc. is moving, but is always prepared to assist you with all of your Auction Needs. Just give them a call today at 540-636-2824.

The Lockhart family is very active in local sports. Lockhart Auctions is sponsor of a little league team where Stacy coaches their son Aaron. Wendy, from Front Royal and a former administrative executive at Freddie Mac, is co-owner and office manager for Lockhart Auctions. A couple of years ago, Wendy was a cheerleading coach for Frederick County Parks & Recreation. She loves working with children, and finds it very rewarding. Daughter Brittany carries on the family tradition by delighting everyone with her wonderful singing talent. Son Aaron is a star baseball player and is an Honor Roll student at Ressie Jeffries Elementary School. As a family they enjoy many outdoor sports including boating & water skiing.

" Auctions are fun, it's a nice place to socialize, and Auctions can become addictive. We look forward to meeting and working with you." -- Stacy
